St. Peters is a small thriving parish at the corner of Michigan and Trumbull in the heart of Detroit. Sunday Worship is at 11:30, followed by pot luck. We share a book study at 7:00 p.m. on Monday nights concluding with Compline. With the Detroit Catholic Worker, we are host to a daily soup kitchen, Manna Community Meals and a community garden. With a vocation of hospitality, our parish house/educational wing, has been home to the Coalition on Temporary Shelter, WARM, Freedom House, Alternative for Girls, and Young Detroit Builders. We are currently redeveloping it as a peace and justice office  hive for community-based non-profits. In the current moment, we are exploring the practices of restorative justice.
