    Highly Effective and Visionary

Just returned from their two day Powering Up the Local Food System Summit and was really impressed with the council's comprehensive approach to the food crisis in Detroit. They have developed detailed analysis and solid action approaches to a wide range of local food issues.

Oh, and of course, the local, organic and fresh food was a delight!
