Michigan Grown Organic Foods are Recession-Proof

The state's organic market is growing 3 to 7 percent annually and hasn't been hurt by the economic downturn, according to the Michigan Department of Agriculture. Michigan ranks 11th nationally in the number of organic farms and the value of organic sales.
