Bank or credit union?

I don't have any money to invest right now, but I do want to know that what little money I put in the bank will be put to the sorts of investments that promote my social and environmental values. What banks of credit unions should I consider?

    In general, a local credit union will return more of your money to your community than will a commercial bank.
